Download Razer DeathAdder Driver Software for Windows. I only use Razer mice. I think the whole handling and the quality are just perfect. I have 2 PCs and a Razer mouse each. I certainly do NOT handle it with care and one or the other freaks out while gambling. I replaced both mice after a good 10 years (not because they are defective but because I just wanted something new as part of an upgrade)

I chose the Death Adder Elite Destiny 2 Edition because of the low price of about 45 euros. The ergonomic design has always convinced me (I have big hands) The speed can be adjusted.
I don\’t care about the visual appearance. In principle, I am into RGB lighting, but when working on the PC it bothers me. The lighting can be switched off with the Razer Synapse program.
The two side buttons can be freely assigned and can be reached intuitively with the thumb. This Razer mouse is my first one, with a knobbed mouse wheel, a small detail that I find very practical. The pressure point of the keys is, for me, perfect. An accidental click is thus minimized. From experience I can say that the buttons wear and tear is negligible.
If you choose Razer, you have a top mouse for the next 10 years. Those who handle it more carefully than I do may have even longer fun with it.
Razer DeathAdder function
The mouse is very handy in my hand, which is probably of average size. The surface is not smooth, but roughened. The right and left mouse buttons are optimal for my taste. The two mouse buttons on the side are also in an optimal position for me. The mouse wheel, which can also be clicked as a middle mouse button, is ribbed so that you have a perfect grip. The mouse wheel cannot be moved left and right.
I haven\’t changed the DPI values yet because the factory condition is pretty good. But even with previous gaming mice, I rarely used this function.
I chose the Razer Deathadder v2 because I already have a Razer keyboard and Razer generally develops good gaming products. The Razer Deathadder v1 and the Razer Deathadder Elite have already received good reviews. Among other things, the sliding feet of the Deathadder v2 have been improved compared to the two predecessors.
The Razer Synapse software can be used to adjust the RGB lighting. The Deathadder v2 was not immediately recognized by Synapse. Switching it on and off several times did not help either. Only a software update fixed the problem. I don\’t know whether the software update is related to the installation of the new mouse. If a software update hadn\’t been offered, I would probably have had to reinstall the software for the mouse to be recognized.
Using Razer Synapse is not that easy, I think. I tried to set the RGB profiles to be the same as on my keyboard, but it wasn\’t that easy right away.
For me the mouse is perfect. If you don\’t want to / can\’t spend a lot of money on gaming products, but still want to rely on quality, I can recommend Amazon Warehouse Dealz.
Razer DeathAdder Conclusion
This device fulfills so many device requirements that I can give a full 5 stars in each of the selected disciplines without hesitation:
- It is an appropriate size so that it can be comfortably held without fatigue, even with large hands. But not so big that just looking for a suitable parking space after use could take half an hour.
- It has this lightness that allows lightning-fast because seemingly weightless gliding and circling, without provoking the feeling of impending loss of control due to a lack of grip and a lack of moment of rest. Of course, preferably on a 1A quality pad in the system.
- It has a safety cord that hugs the edges of desk utensils softly and snuggly without friction.
- However, the magic only arises when you can find the arrow on the television and fix its attention in such a way that it imitates the movements of the device almost 1 to 1 as if by magic remotely. However, since I did not believe in magic so far, I fear the rather nasty trick of an impostor who is probably watching me secretly and laughing at me. Maybe I should subtract a star after all.
