With the Hewlett Packard Color LaserJet CP1515N, for example, almost everything is right, such as the printing speed and, above all, the quality of the printouts. But when it comes to the printing costs, the color laser printer digs surprisingly deep into the pockets of its user and extracts 3.8 cents from them for the b/w page.

On the other hand, positive things can be reported about the energy management of the Color LaserJet CP1515N, which in turn leads to cost savings. Thanks to a so-called instant-on fusing technology, the printer returns to sleep mode relatively quickly after a print job, and it doesn’t take long to warm up either.
In sleep mode, on the other hand, the energy consumption, as measured in tests, was a low 4.9 watts. And last but not least, thanks to its own off switch, it can be completely disconnected from the power supply.
As I said, there is no such thing as the perfect printer. But from the various models, the manufacturers could take one or the other successful equipment element for the future and then finally assemble the perfect printer from them.
A high print quality, but unfortunately a bit more expensive. The HP Color LaserJet CP1515N is a high-quality laser printer with which the company wants to stand up to the powerful competitor Samsung. In terms of print quality, this also seems to be successful. Both the black and white and, above all, the color printouts are usually highly praised and described as excellent.

In addition, the HP is quite a bit smaller than its competitors and comes across as downright slender with a height of just under 26 centimeters. Another practical function is the convenient toner cartridge change using a pull-out drawer. And all this is already available for 320 euros.
That leaves the “but” because unfortunately this also exists, like a test on druckerchannel.demakes it clear: the excellent print quality unfortunately has to be paid for relatively expensively.
The testers determined a price of 55 cents for the DIN A4 color page, well above average, and the printer also digs a little deeper into the wallet at 3.8 cents for black and white printing than the competition.
The conclusion seems to be clear: If you need high quality for your printouts, you can confidently choose the Color LaserJet CP1515N. However, only if the print volume is limited. And for pure text printing you should look around for a cheap monochrome laser printer anyway.
